The Scag SFC-21 Finish-Cut Walk-Behind Mower brings commercial-grade construction, precise cutting performance, and professional productivity to a compact 21-inch platform.
Designed for both commercial landscaping work and demanding residential lawn care, the SFC-21 is well suited to small lawns, narrow passages, landscaped properties, gated areas, and locations where larger commercial mowers cannot operate efficiently.
Its high-vacuum, high-capacity cutting deck creates strong airflow to lift grass before cutting, helping produce a clean and consistent finish. The mower supports three cutting methods: mulching, rear bagging, and optional side discharge. A mulching plug and fabric grass catcher are included, while the side-discharge adapter is available separately.
The self-propelled drive system uses a maintenance-free GT MG 512 three-speed transmission. Operators can select low, medium, or high travel speeds according to grass density, lawn conditions, and walking pace. The variable drive-control bar provides smooth engagement and convenient speed control from the handle.

Cutting and Collection System
The SFC-21 is configured for rear discharge and includes a large fabric grass catcher. The extra-wide discharge opening helps transfer clippings from the deck into the catcher with reduced clogging under suitable mowing conditions.
